Aangan — Delete Your Account

Aangan is developed by Synoris Information System Pvt Ltd. You can delete your Aangan account and the data stored with it at any time, in either of the two ways below.

Delete it in the app

Open Aangan and sign in.
Go to the Child tab to open your profile.
Tap Delete account at the bottom, then confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email support@synoris.co.in with the subject "Delete my Aangan account" and the phone number you signed up with. We will confirm that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything.

What is deleted

Your account: phone number, password, optional recovery email, language and consent records.
Your child's first name and birth month and year.
Your activity history, notes, reminders and screen-free check-ins.
Any error reports the app sent that carry your phone number.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you or your child is kept after deletion. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; to use Aangan again you would create a new account.
